Get into the racing scene inshore and/or offshore. Build on your sailing skills and enjoy the excitement of sailing with a spinnaker and racing with and against others. The Spinnaker Course is packed with vital information for working as a part of a race crew and how to function in the various roles on a racing yacht and a J24 in particular.
The Inshore Skipper certificate is compulsory for the Spinnaker Course. On completion students can apply to race with us in the summer or winter series of the BBYC or to get involved in one of the many twilight or weekend racing competitions in the bay. Check the calendar for 2009/2010.
Calendar:
During the summer season BBYC is organising twilight races on Friday evening. It starts at 6 pm-6.15 pm and on Saturday there are spinnaker races.
