What’s better then cruising around the bay, dropping an anchor to have some lunch on your own private beach at Towra Point and then have a swim before you set sail again to Yarra Bay? Do you love that idea, but you can do without the hassle and cost of owning your own yacht? Then AusSea Sailing School might have the perfect solution: become a member of the AusSea Sailing Club*. This will allow you to take one of our J24’s out at a fraction of the regular charter price, without having to worry about insurance, mooring fees, anti-fouling and other maintenance issues.
We have several packages on offer to suit everyone’s budget and agenda:
ADMIRAL’S MEMBERSHIP
This membership entitles you to the use of a J24 for 20 weekend days and 5 weekdays throughout the year. Like all the other packages it entails a walk on, walk off service and it runs every day from 9am-5pm. The maximum of passengers is 5. The Admiral’s Membership is valid for 12 months after signing the lease contract and is priced at $6,000 (that equals only $30 an hour – call out fee, in case of incidents $150 per call)
COMMODORE’S MEMBERSHIP
This membership entitles you to the use of a J24 for 10 weekend days and 5 weekdays throughout the year. Like all the other packages it entails a walk on, walk off service and it runs every day from 9am-5pm. The maximum of passengers is 5. The Commodore’s Membership is valid for 12 months after signing the lease contract and is priced at $4,000 (call out fee, in case of incidents $150 per call)
CAPTAIN’S MEMBERSHIP
This membership entitles you to the use of a J24 for 5 weekend days and 10 weekdays throughout the year. Like all the other packages it entails a walk on, walk off service and it runs every day from 9am-5pm. The maximum of passengers is 5. The Captain’s Membership is valid for 12 months after signing the lease contract and is priced at $3,500 (call out fee, in case of incidents $150 per call)
*Boxing day, New Years Eve and Australia Day are the only days the J24’s aren’t available for charters.

J24 CHARTER PRICES PER (HALF) DAY:
$495 for half a day – 4 hours, from 9am-1pm or 1pm-5pm
$695 for a full day – 8 hours, from 1pm-5pm
